Wedstrijd, zaterdag 02 september 2006.

BeND wedstrijden Keulen. Met een 1000 m tijdrit en een 1 uur criterium. Beide wedstrijden tellen mee voor het BeND klassement.
Inschrijven bij de Duitse Speedbike site.
Vanaf vrijdag 18:00 is de baan open voor de deelnemers die in een tent op de baan willen overnachten.
BeND and DLC in Köln and Langenfeld

On Sept., 2. and 3., the german leg of this year's BeND Competition will be held in Köln,.This Year it will also be part of the new german race Series DLC. A 1000m Time Trial and a 1 Hour race are on the programme.

All Races are held under the regulations of the BeND and DLC Regulations respectively. Fullfaired bikes are not allowed. (neither in the Trackraces nor the Criterium!) Chainwheels must be covered. Helmets are obligatory. Non-protective "Aero-helmets" are not allowed.

Saturday, 2.9.2006

Beginning 8.00h.
Start of the first races ca 10.30h

• 1000m individual Timetrial


• One hour race

The Hour race is expected to be held in two heats. All heats will be counted together. Qualification according to the results of the 1000m TT. The showers in the stadium can be used until ca. 19.00h.

If the track of the velodrome becomes wet due to rain, the races will be stopped or not started for safety reasons.

Sunday, 3.9.2006

• Criterium 90min + 1lap during the 6. cSc - Langenfeld - 2006

The Criterium will be raced together with tandems, fast racing-wheelchairs and Handbikes. Start at appr. 13h. The Start will be at: Langforter Straße 70, 40764 Langenfeld. Start/Finish near the entrance of the swimming-bath. The course is a flat round course of 2,4km. There are 600 Euro of pricemoney to be won for the Recumbent racers!

Enrollment

The Enrollment is done via the DLC Website: http://www.lieger.de/dlc/index.php?dia=login Last day of entry is 25.8.06, 24h. After this date you can only enroll at the spot. The starting fee is 10 Euro for the trackraces. and 10 Euros (if you pay via the Gemeinsam cSc Bankaccount,or 20 Euro if you pay at the spot) for the Races in Langenfeld. You can also enroll directly for the Langenfeld Race at the website of Gemeinsam-cSc Remark: If a competitor has paid the full starting fee to the RSC Speedbike bankaccount until 22.8.06, we will of course forward the money to Gemeinsam cSc

For spectators the entry will be free. The paperwork for the race in Langenfeld can be obtained from the race-bureau on raceday from 9.30h. Important: you will have to pay a security for the timekeeping transponders. (alternatively a valid personal ID Card or driving license is also accepted as security)

The participants can spend the night from saturday to sunday (camping in their own tents or campingcars) at the surrounding areas of the velodrome.

Informations regarding other accomodations can be found at the Cologne Tourist Office or the German Youth Hostels.

How to get to the Velodrome:

By Car:
A 1; Exit Nr. 103, "Köln-Lövenich"
"Aachener Str." towards downtown
follow the signs to the "Stadion" (Köln Müngersdorf)
turn right before the Tramstation "Stadion"
The Cycletrack is on the righthand side. There is a parking lot in front of
the Stadium.

By train:
Cologne Mainstation ("Köln HBf")
by Underground (Station "Dom/HBf" or "Breslauer Platz/HBf") to "Neumarkt"
From "Neumarkt" by tramline Nr."1" towards "Junkersdorf" to the station
"Stadion"
Turn left after the Parking lot.
The Cycletrack is on the righthand side.

or from "Köln-Deutz":
Underground Line Nr."1" towards "Junkersdorf" to the station "Stadion"
