The World Championships consist of five races distributed over three days:

1. Elimination race
   
2. One hour time trial
   
3. 20 minute criteriums

5. Choice of 3 or 6 hour race
   

For each race your speed is converted to points for the overall ranking.

In addition we have a race in which the versatility of your bike is tested:

The races are held at two different tracks, and on Saturday there is a human powered transfer ride between them.
